2015
ANNUAL REPORT
Every day I am so thankful God called me to pastor Calvary Church. It amazes me to see how He is continually moving in the lives of our congregation. 2015 was an exciting year for us as we saw God continue to grow our church both numerically and spiritually. God used many of you to accomplish His mission for Calvary Church. This annual report is meant to celebrate how, through the power and leading of God's Spirit, we were able to do far above what we could have hoped or imagined. 2016 promises to be even greater as we all continue to take great steps of faith together. Thank you for the opportunity to serve such a great church.
2015 ANNUAL REPORT
Transformed Lives Through God's Word
God did great things in the lives of people at Calvary in 2015. Our average weekly attendance increased to 905 people on campus, 690 of which were adults. Already in 2016 we are averaging over 1000 people on campus each week! As people were introduced to the power of God's Word their lives were changed. We had 44 people report that they gave their lives to Jesus Christ this past year, and many more have experienced significant life change through the power of God's Spirit!
Relationships & Families Matter
Relationships and families truly matter here at Calvary, and that shows through Growth & Community Groups and our Children and Student Ministries. In 2015 we averaged 200 children on campus every Sunday in our Preschool and Elementary ministries, and on Wednesday nights, there was an average of 52 students participating in Student Ministry. In addition, relationships were created and strengthened through Growth & Community Groups with 482 people involved in 51 different groups!
Through financial support, feet on the ground, and hands reaching out, Calvary helped reach people with the good news of Jesus in a significant way in 2015. Financially, we gave nearly $300,000 to Missions, Outreach & Benevolence allowing people to experience God's love and grace locally as well as in over 27 different countries. We also participated in multiple outreach projects that helped spread the love of Jesus to people right here in our community.
When you encounter the Word of God like you do at Calvary, you will be challenged to take steps of faith. No matter where you are in your relationship with Jesus, there is always a Next Step to be taken. In 2015 we had 44 people take their next step of faith by being publically baptized. That's 3 times more than we had in 2014! In addition, we had 352 people actively serving in multiple ministries at Calvary. As we continue to grow, more and more people will be taking exciting steps of faith as they grow in their relationship with Jesus.
At Calvary Church, we firmly believe that we are living in the last days before the coming of Jesus. It can often be difficult to find hope during such times, but we are excited about what God is doing here. God has been bringing more and more people to Calvary, and as we move into 2016 we know that the prospect of a new, larger building brings the opportunity to reach even more people with the Word of God!

When we give a tenth of our income (tithe), we are both supporting the work of the Gospel and being obedient to God’s commands. God doesn’t really need our money, but He desires our obedience. When offering a tithe, you are placing God in the highest position of value in your life and worshipping Him in the process. Sacrificial giving makes a statement of faith to God that says, “I trust You. I have faith that You provided what I currently have, and You will provide all that I need.”
Then the people rejoiced because they had offered so willingly,
for they made their offering to the Lord with a whole heart
